Upcoming Baptism Service
Elkview Baptist Church believes Baptism (by immersion) is
the outward expression of faith in Jesus Christ through salvation.
During the Awana Program at Elkview Baptist Church we have
been learning of Salvation and Baptism and why one should follow
Christ.
We will be having a Baptismal Service on Wednesday,
March 2, 2011. If you or your child is interested in being
baptized during this service or if you have any questions, you may
contact one of the following individuals:

Awana 2010
In the past we celebrated the AWANA Kickoff each year with an awesome carnival. We decided to shake this up a bit this year with a cool movie night. This isn’t just a normal movie night…We are going all out! Elkview Baptist Church is proud to announce a Drive-In Movie Bash! We will be showing two movies with popcorn and drinks provided. What is Awana?
Awana is a fun and exciting program for boys and girls ages 2 through the 6th grade. Fun games, handbook time and devotional time make the 1 1/2 hour program each Wednesday. Awana at Elkview Baptist Church started over 35 years ago and is currently the oldest active Awana program in the state of West Virginia. We have been blessed to meet thousands of children from the Elk River community over the years.
Come and join the fun on Wednesday evenings beginning at 6:30PM, we promise your children will have a great time.
