Elkview Baptist Church was established on February 4, 1917 as an independent baptist church in Elkview, West Virginia. Today some 90 plus years later God has tremendously blessed the fellowship of EBC. We have seen God work freely over the years, but none more noticeable than in recent days. The church has experienced growth physically and spiritually over the past several years with many people coming to Christ and following his example in believers baptism. If you are looking for purpose in life allow EBC to help you find that purpose God has for your life. Come worship with us.
Our mission is to reach the people of Elkview and the surrounding areas with the gospel of Jesus Christ and to teach them to love God with all of their heart.[i]
Our vision is to glorify God by seeing lives forever changed with the truth of the gospel.
Our core values serve as principles that guide us as we accomplish our God given Mission and fulfill God directed Vision. Our core values include the following guiding principles.
- Authentic Love
- We will maintain personal and doctrinal integrity by doing what is right and correctly handling God’s Word.[vi]
