Elkview Baptist Church was established on February 4, 1917 as an independent baptist church in Elkview, West Virginia.  Today some 90 plus years later God has tremendously blessed the fellowship of EBC. We have seen God work freely over the years, but none more noticeable than in recent days. The church has experienced growth physically and spiritually over the past several years with many people coming to Christ and following his example in believers baptism. Senior Pastor David Keeney

After being part of church staffs in Ohio, Maryland, and elsewhere in West Virginia over a period of 18 years, David became part of the church staff here at EBC in April, 2001. He became senior pastor in October, 2005.
He received his Bachelor of Science degree from Liberty University, his Master of Arts in Religion in 2004 and Master of Divinity in 2010 from Liberty Baptist Theological Seminary.

He is blessed with a great family. He married his wife, Nita, in 1981. She loves life and enjoys having a great time with people, especially with her children.

In his spare time, David enjoys spending time with his wife, reading, and playing basketball. He is a fan of any professional sports team from Cleveland as well as being a big fan of the WVU Mountaineers and the Ohio State Buckeyes.
